UPMC educating our senior swimmers

Tuesday September 26th our A Squad swimmers attended an 'Injury Prevention Clinic' hosted by the Head of Physiotheraphy at UPMC Aut Even Hospital.  Jane Campbell gave the swimmers information on the many sources of where injuries can come from.  Many young athletes would assume it comes from over training, but Jane explained how its so much more than just down to the volume of training.

Then Jane and her colleague, Elaine Kennington, put the swimmers through their paces.  They had to learn and practise some key exercises for core and shoulder strength & flexibity.  Spot prizes were won and lots of laughs were had.
